Inventory
The Inventory tab displays a of the recently added samples. In the Inventory you can search samples or you can use the camera of your mobile device to scan a barcode of a sample to view the relevant sample information. You can also scan barcodes to view information sample series, storage units, compartment or equipment. Scanning samples can also be done with a 2D barcode scanner.
After scanning a item the information sheet shows the following actions:
- Samples - move a sample to a new location, update quantity or sample, or archive a sample
- Sample Series - move a sample series or archive a sample series
- Equipment - scan equipment to make a booking for a device
- Compartment - scan a compartment to see which samples and compartments it contains or move a compartment
